About MA Playgrounds

What this is
MA Playgrounds is a free, community-supported directory covering public playgrounds across all 351 Massachusetts towns. Our goal is to make it easy for families to find the right playground — whether you need ADA-accessible equipment, a fenced area for toddlers, or a spot with restrooms nearby.
How records are kept accurate
Records come from a combination of municipal GIS data, state open data sources, and manual research. Amenity fields that have not been verified are marked as unknown and never shown as confirmed. You can help by uploading photos — they go through a quick review before appearing on the listing.
How search works
When you share your location, we show you the nearest playgrounds first — no fixed radius that leaves you with zero results. Filter chips let you narrow by amenity; filters use AND logic, so every result you see actually has what you asked for.
